This
is a photo of my iguana, Kirin - he is now about a year old. In
the photo, he was about eight months old. He is a giant green iguana and
we live in Malvern, PA. Every night when his lights go off, I take
Kirin out of his enclosure to cuddle. He likes to lay down on my chest
while I'm laying on the couch and then he snuggles himself into my
neck and goes to sleep. Usually, I get a whole bunch of lizard kisses
first!
Kirin is a rescue who came to me after a school teacher gave him up
when she found out how big iguanas get. He wasn't fed properly nor did
he get the right lighting or temperature conditions, resulting in a
crooked jaw. But to me, he's the most beautiful iguana (not to mention
the most beautiful pet) in the world -- next to his older brother
Frodo, another iguana, of course!
