Taco
was a gift from my girlfriend's sister, because he and another
bird in the house didn't get along. Taco has been passed from owner to
owner (not sure how many) before finding a permanent home with me. He
was a biter when I got him but now he loves to be petted. He is in love
with my half-moon conure Sprite, although I always keep them separate
for the safety of the smaller bird. Taco says "Taco,"
"Hello," "I Love You," "Mom," "The
Owl" and some other unintelligible things, and he honks like a
goose. He loves popcorn, toast, bell pepper, enchiladas and a very
occasional tiny bit of chocolate. (Chocolate's not really good for
birds).
