is Haru (Japanese for 'Spring') who is one of our four koi, all of
whom are named after the seasons. This one is the largest and by far the
strongest of the four, and was designated Haru because at the end of the
winter, Spring brings revival, rebirth, and creation, which is the
greatest power. He is about a year old, and is close to six inches long.
He is clearly the king of the 55-gallon tank, and there are always other
fish following him around. He is our only fish, aside from our late
Arowana Siberius, who has been bold enough to leap out of the tank - and
