I
got Big'un from a local pet store. She, along with several others,
were in a large glass cage. I put my hand into the cage and she grabbed
my hand with her sharp little claws, and wouldn't let go. I picked her
up and fell in love with her. She was so tiny, she could slip under the
sofa. She now weighs one pound six ounces. She just has to see and sniff
everything we eat or drink. She will dig the ice out of your glass if
you don't watch her. She loves raisins and will hiss at me if I don't
give them fast enough. She is my little darling.
