This
is Angelique, a female pied cinnamon cockatiel. Angelique is about
three years old. She was hand fed and raised to be a pet, but her owner
had to give her up. She was kept as a breeder for a year and not
handled. Now, little by little, we are persuading her people are safe
and other birds aren't threatening, and watching as she unfolds into
quite the matron of our flock of five adult 'tiels, assorted occasional
babies, and four budgies. She is a very special and extraordinarily
beautiful bird we are very lucky to have.
