This
is Major, He is a seven year old Blue and Gold Macaw. He lives with
his Mom and Dad and cat-brother Munchikin in Texas, near Dallas. Major
should be the pet of the day because he's so beautiful. Not only is he
beautiful, but he's a little clown in a feather suit. He makes us laugh
at least once every day. And makes us go Awwww, too. He's cute and
sweet. His favorite activities are playing with his bell, and other
toys. He must have a little of whatever Mom and Dad have to eat. He
loves to go! Anywhere, anytime, he's ready to giddyap! He is allowed to
go on errands with Mom and Dad if he can go in or at least one of us can
stay in the car with him. Otherwise we may not have a car left when we
get back! He gets to go inside the bank, the feed store where we buy his
food, the pet store where we buy his big brother's food and the copy
store. Everywhere he goes, he draws a crowd. Everyone wants to know more
about him. And boy, does he love all the attention! You'd better notice
him or he'll squeal at the top of his lungs at you. He has a small
vocabulary but only uses it at home. He can say "Hello,"
"Hi," "Polly want a cracker," "All right"
and my favorite, "Oh!" He's a wonderful little guy who gives
us a lot of laughter and love.
