These
are my two precious gerbils. The mama gerbil's name is Peirce.
When I first bought her she build a nest and shredded things like her
life depended on it. A week later she gave birth to two baby gerbils!!
One didn't survive but the other one is kink-tailed and skittish. They
both shred toilet paper rolls like crazy. They're our own personal paper
shredders!! They also are very intelligent (Peirce is moreso than the
baby, Napoleon). We're hoping they're both females! I feel Peirce is
special because she always sticks around when I visit with them and eats
the treats I offer her. This may not seem like much but when you have a
pet that is constantly hiding from you it can be sad!
