Sam,
a male Cockatiel, is unfortunately no longer with us. But he is
still loved by the whole family. Born in California in the Spring of
1978, my wife & I got Sam as a baby right after we were married. He
has traveled most of the western U.S. Sam was our first "kid!"
He loved to play and sing. Sam could make just about any sound at all!
He always seemed to know when it would be funny to imitate something.
Although talking wasn't his strongest skill, he did have a fair
vocabulary. Three children and nearly 18 years later, Sam passed away in
Carlsbad, NM in the Summer of 1996. We will miss him forever.
