Most
hedgehogs look alike, so Petey tries to stand out from the crowd
by dressing up in his finest tuxedo whenever he gets the chance. The
ladies truly dig him and his smooth fashion sense. Petey is the star
of his own television special, "When Hedgehogs Attack,"
where he plays a vicious, wild beast out of Africa, terrorizing
helpless citizens of the world.
In reality, he's a sweet, pokey little guy with a
fondness for cuddling into armpits. Petey is also happy to announce
that during a routine visit to the vet a couple of weeks ago, the
doctor exclaimed, "Petey is the largest hedgehog I've ever
seen!" Petey is very proud of his immense proportions, as it
adds to his ferocious, intimidating mystique. Sadly, I have to put
him on a strict diet and exercise regimen to reduce his girth. That
means less ferret food and no more bon-bons. Petey likes trying to
squeeze his massive self into tight spots, and he likes running on
his special hedgehog wheel. He also enjoys tasting new things and
rolling into an impenetrable spikey ball when he doesn't feel like
socializing. In his free time, he enjoys sleeping.
