This
is Mr. Tiggy Winkle. We call him Tiggy for short. Tiggy is special
because he lives in my Kindergarten classroom. The children love Tiggy.
Each day we sit in a circle and Tiggy gets to run around and explore. We
call this "Tiggy Time." We look forward to it everyday and
Tiggy enjoys the exercise! Tiggy comes home with me each night and
enjoys running in his wheel when he is not at school. Tiggy is special
because he is dearly loved by 18 Kindergarten students! The children do
not really get to "pet" him because of his quills... they are
allowed to hold him in their laps or in their hand because his belly is
so soft! :-) I can't say anyone was afraid of him at first but just
cautious... we love our little Tiggy!
