Chester
is a six-year-old Shetland gelding. He is a very nice pony, no
vices and loves to pull my little two wheeled cart. He was just broken
to drive last year by a friend of mine, in exchange for a couple of tons
of hay. We mostly go down the dirt roads around our house in Casper,
Wyoming.
What makes Chester special? He is one of the most entertaining and
honest ponies I have ever been around. The only bad habit he has is
getting out of the pasture and going visiting. Just today he got out
twice by walking under the fence in the irrigation ditch. He is a small
Shetland being only eleven hands high (44 inches). He is great fun to
drive and just to be around.
