Taz
was a special Christmas present from my husband when she was not
quite a year old. We have two other Quarter Horses as well, but Taz is
extra special because we've had her since she was a baby. We've shown
Taz for three years and she has been a year-end champion in Connecticut
Quarter Horse Association, Massachusetts Quarter Horse Association, and
North Atlantic Buckskin Association all three years. Taz will always
have a soft spot in my heart because she helped me through a major
illness. I had breast cancer two years back and still continued to show
and ride Taz. She stuck by me and got me through this illness, the chemo
treatments, surgery, radiation, and kept me sane!! I will never forget
the first time I ever got to ride her after she was broke to saddle. I
never thought I would see that day and she was the perfect lady!
