This
is my pet hamster, Sheila. Sheila is about four months old and I have had
her for a month and a half now. She's a very beautiful golden fancy hamster,
and she and I live in Glendale, WI, USA. I love Sheila very much. We have
formed an incredible bond together. She eats carrots and apples out of my hand
and I feel as though I'm her mommy. One very cute thing she does is she climbs
on top of her chew block, stands on her hind legs, and then proceeds to leap
off her block onto her shavings.
She still hasn't quite gotten used to her ball yet. Every time she goes in it,
she bumps into something, turns around and then soon enough, bumps into
something else. My dog came into my room a few days ago and my hamster and dog
just stared at each other for a while, then Sheila made a squeaking noise
which ended up scaring my dog away! Sometimes Sheila sticks her head under her
shavings and runs around like that, and when she comes up, her face is all
covered in food and shavings and it's very adorable.
