This
is my four-year-old quaker parakeet named Buddy. He is the one that
gave me birdie fever! I now have five birds total. In this pic I caught
him yawning... but it looks like he is roaring like a lion!!
Buddy is my special boy because he is the one that got me started with
birds. I bought him when I was sixteen when I had my first job and was
able to afford a bird. I how have five personal pet birds and have
started a parrot rescue in my area. You can see its

Buddy is hilarious!!! He laughs at everything... kind of like a deep
belly laugh, lol. His favorite thing to do is open his cage door... then
sneak over to his brother Maliki's cage (a sun conure) and let him out!
When Buddy is in his cage he can be very territorial... but that's just
a quaker thing. When he is out of his cage is very loving and loves to
ride around on my shoulder and preen my hair for me.
