Kiwi
is a very special Senegal. As a baby, he was cuddly and sweet. He
still is. He was the most independent of the first three we had. He was
the most helpful also, he took care of his siblings, starting at the
young age of five weeks. He was preening them and feeding them like they
were his own. This is no ordinary Senegal. To this day he helps to
socialize his new siblings, does the preening, and shares the formula
(favorite part!) He picks out the one he likes best and stays with it
till it goes to a new home. He is a delightful bird, always there to
make us laugh, and help with the baby chicks. He's a comical, happy
bird, and his favorite thing in the world is food.
