This
is my cockatiel Peanut! Peanut is a one-year-old, whiteface male
cockatiel that I've had since he was about eight weeks old. He has an
older brother
Chipper,
who happened to be Pet of the Day for
September 7th. Peanut mimics everything his older brother says,
including "Gimme Kiss," come here, and Chip (short for
Chipper). He is very musically oriented. He can perfectly whistle the
first few lines of Popeye the Sailor Man and the theme from the
X-files. Peanut is very shy, but loves to follow Chipper around
wherever he goes! The two are inseparable! Peanut likes to spend time
with himself, but doesn't mind the occasional head scratch now and
then.
