Merlin
was our two and a half year old rat. He lived the last six
months of his life in our group of rats in Bern, Switzerland. We
adopted him from a rescue station. He was left behind in an abandoned
apartment and had to have a huge tumor removed. The tumor never grew
back and Merlin was one of the cuddliest, happiest rats you can
imagine. He loved to get toothbrush massages and received one every
single day.
