My
bird Tweety is special because he has a vocabulary that has so
many words we lose count. He is coming up with more everyday, and
most of the time, says them for no reason at all. Sometimes, he can
associate "Hi Tweety!" with entering a room and "Bye
Tweety!" with leaving. He lives like a human, in the way that he
has a stuffed animal. In one picture, you can see that his stuffed
animal is a pig named Babe. He treats it like his baby, defending it
and feeding it. He will not leave the cage unless the pig is with
him. Since we keep his wings trimmed, he has never learned how to
fly. When we do clip them, he takes off and crashes into everything
because he doesn't know how to apply his brakes, stop, or even how to
turn! He is a great company in the morning for my mom, when he talks
to her as she drinks her coffee. When ever he hears a car pull into
the garage or my bus go past the house, he will scream at the top of
his little lungs until someone comes into the room. He really does
have a lot of character and is a wonderful bird. The small picture is
of Tweety and his pig, Babe.
