This
is our little baby, Sammy MacKenzie Green. We got him last August. He
has brought so much joy to our life. Sammy is a house rabbit and has control
of the whole place. He stays out of the cage for the whole day until his
bedtime. At bedtime he runs away, he really hates going to bed, he knows
every little hiding spot there is. We did not think that a bunny could be so
loving but our sammy is. he loves having his ears rubbed and he loves hanging
out with us. After he is let out in the morning he jumps on the bed to get us
out if we let him out early. When we come home he greats us with a circle
around the feet. he is a black bundle of joy.
In June Sammy became sick and had to go to the vet. He had a very large hair
ball in his stomach. It was a very hard time for us because he had become one
of the family. The vet did not think it looked good but he fought really hard
and came out of it. This was all caused because he did not like eating hay.
Now he does. The vet said he made it because of TLC. We went to visit him
every day at the vet to let him know we wanted him to live. This is something
very serious that we think every rabbit owner should be aware about. Sammy
is a very active bunny now and eats hay every day and since his ordeal he is
a much more loving little guy.
