This
is Rocky, a year old male grey squirrel who lives in Norman,
Oklahoma. He has a manmade nest that he eats his walnuts, sunflower
seeds and special squirrel food from. He loves to torment our two
dogs and even provoked our terrier enough to climb into the tree with
Rocky!! Our little terrier actually jumped up into the tree from a
lower branch... well, Rocky leaped onto a higher branch and chattered
loudly at Tasha and then got just close enough to tease her. What a
stinker!!
He drinks from our bird bath and lets us know when
his feeding nest is empty. When that happens, he doesn't think twice
about robbing the bird feeder even though he has to hang upside down
to eat out of it!! He eats out of my hand. If I go outside and don't
see him, I click two walnuts together loudly and he comes scampering
out of nowhere ready to crack the nuts open and feast on them. He is
very tame.
