When
I took these pictures, Tess was just a baby. We have five
ferrets, but Tess is extra special to me. She was my first ferret,
and she's the friendliest one I've ever seen. When I come home, she
runs up to greet me, and she loves to go for rides with me. She
travels in the sleeve of my coat, pausing every now and then to lick
my wrist. In all her (admittedly short so far) life, she's never been
even a tiny bit aggressive or unfriendly. And, although it's hard to
tell from these pictures, as she matured, Tesser's fur took on a very
reddish tint. Cinnamon ferrets are very rare, and Tess is beautiful
now.
Tesseract does very well with strangers--I call her my ambassador
ferret, because if I hand her to someone, she snuggles close to them
and goes to sleep.
