The
middle guinea pig in this picture is Kes (after a Star Trek:
Voyager character) - she should be guinea pig of the day because she
was sweet, adventurous and always squeaking without end! When we
connected our two cages together, with tunnels, she was the first to go
through and claimed the second cage as her own! She was also the
best tempered piggy - she let anyone and everyone hold her and
(almost) never bit anyone. The almost is there, because if you
happened to eat a carrot yourself before picking her up, she could
smell it and mistake your finger for a carrot!!! One time, she was
squeaking so hard that she had tears running down her face and she
was drooling - all because she wanted vegetables. What an actress!
She was two and a half when she was killed by a dog.
