This
is our gecko, named Amy, she is a Day Gecko, native to
Madagascar. This picture was taken when Amy escaped from her tank
(one of her favorite things to do). She like to eat crickets and baby
food, and especially likes it when she is hand-fed with the use of a
chopstick. Her favorite place to be is inside a bamboo pole, but she
can also be found basking on top of a leaf in the warmth of the heat
lamp. She is very frisky, and likes to try to escape from her tank so
that she can roam the living room freely!
