My
ferret's name is Elmo, he is two years old. He is an albino gold
ferret but it's hard to see the gold which looks yellow in the photo.
They are one of the rarest type of ferrets you can get. Elmo is sweet
and does not bite and he is really smart for a ferret. He can
practically open every cupboards, and he will take towels from a
towel rack and make the towels into a bed!!!
Elmo sometimes opens cupboards and drawers and even doors to get some
things like rice, bread or raisins. Elmo likes to play in tunnels
like all ferrets do, and he chases balls. I first thought of getting
a ferret when I saw one in the pet shop, so asked the man who was
working there if I could hold him and play with the ferret a bit. Of
course, he said yes. So then after i played with that one sable
ferret I always wanted one. I pleaded for one to my mom! We talked
about it for around one year. Then she said yes. Then we looked for a
place to adopt a ferret. We found a place over the waters to get a
ferret. We had to talk on the phone about it. We did not know what
Elmo was going to look like besides that he was an albino ferret.
After all that they flew Elmo to the airport and that is how I got
Elmo.
