Buck
is very special to me and my husband as he is the first rabbit
we have ever had. We chose getting a house rabbit against getting a
dog and when we saw Buck in a cage all alone on New Years Day we
couldn't wait to bring him home. He had been on his own since
Christmas Eve and was looking very sorry for himself. He is a very
timid rabbit and it took us a while to persuade him that we weren't
going to hurt him and lots of patience. He is now more loving than
ever and will let you stroke him. He is neutered and we have since
got a partner for him, Buttercup, she is a bit of a handful and
picks on Buck but hopefully in two months she will be spayed and
will calm down. They come with us when we go on holiday in our
touring caravan. Buck loves to sleep at the bottom of the bed next
to my husband's feet. Then in the middle of the night he thinks it
is time to play and sits on your chest and you wake up with his nose
and a ball of fur in your face!! His fur is so soft when you put
your hand on him you sink in. One morning we woke to find holes in
the blanket, he had decided to chew it while waiting for us to wake
up. He is normally a good rabbit, uses his litter tray perfectly
and has a great personality. My husband and I wouldn't swap him for
the world.
