Warff
is an eight-month-old Bearded Dragon from Staten Island, New
York. Contrary to what many believe about lizards, Warff is extremely
playful and personable. If you Kiss him he will kiss you back and
when he's out of his habitat, he will follow me where ever I go.
What's even more special about him is that he enjoys watching T.V!
It's true! Especially Basketball. When I set the TV to show a game,
he will stare at it attentively and turn away if I change the
channel!
Shown here majestically perched on the top branch of his habitat,
Warff is by far the greatest! He is a fun loving, playful and the
best little friend I could have! Warff does change color, but not
like a chameleon. He doesn't change in order to camouflage himself
but he does go through phases. Sometimes he is very very dark, almost
black and when he gets older he will go through a red phase where his
skin will have reddish "highlights." When he reaches sexual
maturity and is ready to mate, his throat turns black. Most of the
time though, he is as you see him here. He is definitely colorful in
personality and looks! Bearded Dragons are the most receptive and
docile Lizard for anyone interested in owning a reptile.
