Sassy
and Cinnamon are sugar gliders and they are half-sisters (same
parents, different litters). They are marsupials and are tree
dwellers in the wild and they do glide like flying squirrels. In the
wild they eat tree sap and insects. Gliders make excellent pets. They
are very social animals so it is very important that a glider isn't
kept alone. Either have more than one or be prepared to spend lots of
time if you only have one. They are approximately six inches of body
and another six inches of tail. They are usually a silvery beige
color with chocolate brown "racing" stripes and they are
fast moving. They are nocturnal so they have large eyes. They are
really adorable little friends.
