This
is my beloved Stewart Lamb acting as a pillow and baby sitter
for my colt Sterling Mixture. Stewart was raised by the herd and is
convinced he is a horse and gets groomed along with the others when
they are in a massive herd grooming mood). He comes running at dinner
time with the rest of the "horses" and gets his own feed bucket.
Stewart even puts his nose up for "nose kisses" and loves to groom
the older horses. He is gentle, fun-loving and, as you can see from
the picture, a great baby sitter.
He was named in honor of my vet, who I consider one of the finest men
of his profession (although my vet did say he thought maybe naming a
sheep after him was a first VBG). I have a great picture of Stewart
standing next to the woolliest horse you ever saw... standard joke is
there is no difference between their wool other than color and size.
