Piglet
chose me about eight weeks ago when I visited him at the pet store.
Of all the fish in his tank he was the most lively and active, showing
off as best as he could. How could I resist him? He is currently about
4 1/2 inches long and should grow to be about eight inches long with a body
the size and shape of a grapefruit.
Piglet was named because of how he loves to eat. His staple food is
goldfish flakes but his favorite is peas. He likes them so much that he
comes up to the top of the tank and takes them out of my hand. His
other favorite treats are zucchini and brine shrimp. Whenever anybody
is near the tank he follows them around. I think he really likes us; or
maybe he's just hoping more food will drop into the tank.
Since we've got him Piglet has been a constant source of fascination for
my 1 1/2 year old daughter Myriam and my Newfoundland dog Winston. You
