Tweety
is approximately four weeks old and Spikey is around 4 to 4 1/2
years old. They live in Whitmore Lake, Michigan in the United States.
We found Tweety and his brother at my mother-in-law's house (she feeds
strays). Their eyes were crusted over with junk and they were looking
for food, or Mom, or both. The vet estimated their age at about ten
days. Through lots of love and Kitten formula, he is growing daily and
has enough energy for everyone in the house!
Spikey was less than 24" when we bought him. He is now about 55" long.
He has a roommate named Sizzle who is a mean El Salvadorian Iguana.
Spikey never bites, never whips us with his tail and is litterbox
trained. He mostly eats greens and vegetables. For a treat he gets a
little cooked chicken breast. When I find them, one of his favorite
treats is big beetle grubs! Yum.
This photo is their first encounter with one another. Their other
siblings are a Maine Coon cat and two dogs, one of which has taken
Tweety in as her own.
