Izzy
was a rescue bunny who'd been surrendered for euthanasia by her
original owners when she dislocated her wrist. We adopted her two
years ago. Her favorite pastime is chewing on the covers of software
manuals.
Izzy is by far the craftiest and most persistent rabbit I've ever
encountered. Izzy (and her companion, Zowie) have the run of the
front of our house, but Izzy is always devising schemes to get to the
forbidden zone. She will stealthy watch me for hours, looking for any
opportunity to sneak through the bunny gates when I pass through. If
I catch her eye, she'll hop the other way, or make herself look busy
doing something else. Several times when I haven't paid full
attention she's made it through. Then getting her out from under the
bed is a real adventure!
