is special because he is the only mouse I have that will sit
on your arm all day if you feed him. (His favorite food is green
beans.) He also loves to have the side of his face scratched...he
will even lift his front paw up and thump it:)
I started raising mice in February with the intentions of selling
them as "feeders" to people who needed them. As I got to
know each mouse personally, though, I stopped looking at them as just
food for reptiles and started looking at them as individuals. I still
sell some as feeders but I also have started showing them and keeping
records on all my mice and litters. I evaluate them at two-and-a-half
weeks of age and if they have the personality and are nice quality
they stay with me until I can find a suitable home for them. I think
that mice are great pets and can be very lovable and fun.
