Tykie
is one special dog. Shortly after my son moved out, in the
summer of '93, I found myself in the mall wondering around right into
the pet shop. There he was, already 6 months old, and no happy home
for him. Well, it was love at first sight. Tykie brings so much
love and happiness to my heart and home. He fills this house with
love. He is now 6 years old. He is family. :-)
Just last Thanksgiving he had cataract surgery on both eyes. He was
totally blind for a few months, luckily his vet caught it in time
for us to get him surgery. He was a real trooper. He had to take
many different medicines and eye drops 4 times a day. We thank God
for modern technologies. He can see again. Both eyes, he is all back
to normal. Tykie has a 2 year old German Shepherd for a little brother.
I love both of my dogs, but Tykie is extra special. He is my pride
and joy. 3 cheers for Tykie!
