Hi!
My name is Delilah. I am a strict vegetarian. My favorite food is
cheese. My favorite place to lay, while out of my cage, is on the
back of my "Mom's" favorite chair. I love to be outside basking in
the sun; I love it so much outside, last winter I sat in front of the
window waiting for all of the snow to melt away! I am also very
friendly.
A Few Words From The Family! We have had Delilah since March 1995. A
few months after we got her she broke her front "arm." We had to take
her to the vet. The vet told us that she had a Metabolic Bone
Disease, which is common in iguanas and all we could do was make her
"take it easy" and give her lots of calcium. She looks and feels
great. When we first got her she could fit in the palm of my hand
with her tail hanging down, now she is so big and heavy my arms gets
tired if I hold her to long. She is about 4' head to tail & weighs
about 5.5lbs. She comes with us to lots of places: the store, the
mall, the pet store (her favorite), my work... just about everywhere
except out to dinner, unless we're picnicking!!
