Daphne
has taught my husband and I that cats have as much love for their
humans as dogs do. We were lonely without a pet, but apartment living was
not good for a dog, so we agreed on getting a cat. Daphne adopted us right
away. She greets us at the door, has to be in whichever room we're in, and
meows loudly if she can't find us. As soon as we meow our location to her,
she's in the room in a flash, purring and cuddling. On occasions when she
feels overwhelmed with her love for my husband, she will leave her toy in
his boot as a token of her affection. I don't know what we would do without
a cat in the house. Daphne has shown us that all animals need love and give
even more love back.
