Alhambra
is an incredible animal. He and I bonded quickly when I
acquired him five years ago. After being with me less than a week, he
graced me with the ever so thoughtful gift of a dead mouse. He's a
big cat (12+ lbs) who has made every effort to train me to maximize
his pleasure. He's trained me to understand when he wants my
affection and when he simply wants other things. He's trained me well
to understand the ways of the Siamese language. I now know the
difference between wanting food, wanting catnip, and wanting to go
outside. One of his favorite activities is making me give him catnip
so he can roll around in it, before engaging me in playful battle.
He thinks I spend too much time in front of the computer, and is very
good about reminding me to come to bed. He hates to sleep alone.
