Beukeboom
was named after the defense man of the New York Rangers hockey
team Jeff Beukeboom. He acquired his name during the exciting year of
the playoffs, when the Rangers were really doing well. Jeff Beukeboom
was hitting hard that game and we kept yelling his name. Every time my
dog heard the name Beukeboom he would jump up as if we were calling him,
so it was then that I decided we would call him "Beukeboom."
Beukeboom has the greatest personality. He thinks he is human
sometimes. I think of him as my son and he is a big part of my life. He
has many health problems and I have invested a lot of money to keep him
healthy, but every dime is worth it.
His hobbies are going for walks, chasing squirrels and birds and rough
housing with our bulldog "Charlie Bubba." He hates strangers coming
around the house at night and what he hates the most is to take a bath.
