Missy
loves all people.
Any person she encounters, she loves to jump up and lick. I have never had
a dog so affectionate. After she greets someone coming to the house, she'll
snuggle up next to them on the chair for a long session of petting and licking.
Other dogs, she doesn't like. She tries to be very dominant over other dogs
in spite of her small size. It's quite a sight to see her charge a great
big dog with the most aggressive barking I've ever heard from such a small
dog. It's like she's saying "Bow down before the mighty missy!!" She's
nearly pulled my arm off pulling on the lead.
Games that she likes are Tug of War with the great big knotted rope, kill
the teddy bear, kill the turkey leg (the one in the picture),
kill the rubber fireman, kill the squeaky dragon (the kill games are,
attack, bite, vigorously shake, and then leave for dead the item being
played with). She also loves to chase bunny rabbits (but they run away
before she can catch them).
She defends the house from the evil doorbell and other passers-by with
ferocious barking and jumping.
I've only had big dogs before, but Missy is a big dog in a little package
with an even bigger heart.
