We
adopted Cody to be a companion with our other Aby named Teddy.
He and Teddy have gotten along marvelously these last 13 years.
Cody was 2 years old when we adopted him and he had been a Grand Champion when
shown as "Dusdee's Cowboy." When we selected Cody out of 30 other Aby's it
was love at first sight. We wanted a lap cat and we got us a gem. Cody is love
personified, he never stops purring and he commands our attention all the
time. He follows us around and clings to us constantly.
Unfortunately Cody has developed kidney failure two years ago and gets 200ml
of fluid daily combined with other drugs. His mobility is constrained, but he
still functions normally in every other way. He takes his daily IV with no
problem all all, rarely do we either hear a whisper from him, or does he ever
object to being a kitty pin cushion.
