I
got Sponge in November of last month as an early Christmas present.
At first I had him in a 20 gallon tank, but I moved him into a child
swimming pool in my room. It's more like a castle for him. He has a
ferret wheel, a piece of pvc pipe, a blanket and a house for his food
that I made out of legos. For his meal, I usually give him dairy
flavored kitten chow, vitamin pellets, and water. Sometimes I give
him chicken or pork chops. As a treat he gets cottage cheese, or a
little ice cream.
Sponge loves to play with the plastic seals off of Snapple bottles,
and he loves to chew on anything metal. He even plays with my cats by
running around the lego house... Kind of a hide and seek game. He
doesn't like getting baths very much though. I fill a sink with water
and let him swim around for a while. It's pretty safe, I just have to
make sure no water gets into his ears.
