Our
cat Barney is always our "Pet of the Day." Barney is over 14 years
old. He is a California native. We think Barney is a very special
cat. He was diagnosed with diabetes over one year ago. Barney has
adjusted very well to his new diabetes routine. He has a special diet
and gets two injections of insulin every day. We also check his blood
glucose at home - just like human diabetics do.
Barney has been a trouper. Through all of this, he is still the same
loving lap cat that he always was. He is also the dominant cat of our
five cat, one dog home.
I've attached Barney's picture - as you can see, he's quite handsome
with his big "mane."
