Mischif
is a very special dog, who somehow managed to worm her
way into my heart. She loves me with all her heart
and I love her. She insists on being with me at all times.
If I leave her in the house when I go out she tells me how
naughty and mean I was to leave her inside while I went
out. She gets on any chair that will hold her so she will
be easier for me to pat, or just to get attention.
Weimaraners are people dogs and are only happy when with their
people. They can be very active, or very laid back. When buying
one, be sure to visit with at least one of the parents so you will
know the temperament your pup might have. I didn't do that with
Mischif and she is very hyper. I probably would have
bought her anyway - she looked at me and said "I'm yours."
She loves to run and run. Never gets winded. Don't know why I love her,
she is such a brat, but I do. When I try to write why, I cannot put my
finger on it, maybe it is just because she loves me and needs me.
She sleeps under the covers with me even in the summer because this
particular girl has such thin skin. She has the softest, thinnest
skin which makes me want to touch her all the time. She
feels just like a baby.
I have four large dogs and she is the one who insists on being #1
with people. Within her dog "family" she is lowest in the pecking
order, but she doesn't care as long as she is first with me.
I have a Boxer, who raised Mischif. He is the greatest.
She gave him a heck of a time tugging on his cheeks and using
him as a chew toy, and he never lost patience with her.
I bought Mischif for my daughter but she left her with me for a
month during one of her moves and I just could not give her
back. I had to buy her another one so I could keep Mischif.
