Emmit is such a special pet because he loves to play with my wife and
I. He also loves to play with his younger sister - Suede. They are
inseperatable. He also lives up to his species' name, ferret, which
in Latin means little thief. He likes to hide our pens, markers, or
whatever he can manage to drag away. Emmit is such a special ferret
because of the love he brings to us.
We had purchased Emmit a pet store about a year ago.
Not because he was so cute, but because he was the last one in
the cage. He was already full grown and we know that most people
only want a cute little baby ferret. The cage was disgusting and lying on a cold
breezy floor in the middle of the store where we saw little kids
poking at him. His coat was in terrible shape, but as you can see
now he looks wonderful. He has made a wonderful addition to our
happy ferretfilled home. We have 5 ferrets now. Some from pet
stores and some from animal shelters.
