Lucas is all black, with semi-long hair and beautiful green eyes. I got him
as a companion for my first cat, after he knocked over the Christmas tree
for fun. My boss had five other cats and they were beating him up. He was
terrified and forced to live in her bathroom. She wanted to find another home
for him because she was afraid he would die.
When I saw him he looked like a stray - his coat was all oily and stringy
and he was very thin. I brought him home and for a while all he did was
hide under furniture. One time my husband had to rescue him from under a
chair because he had gotten himself stuck between the crossbeams underneath.
Ever since then Lucas has been his best buddy. Lucas weighs about 10 or 11
lbs. We also call him the "Cat Who Stomps."
