Benji
came into our lives over 2 years ago. He was 2 years old at the
time and looked like a vagabond. His previous owner couldn't keep him
because of his other dog stopped eating while Benji was around. So that
meant eating, sleeping and spending his days (sometimes cold and damp)
outside. We took him in our home, cleaned him, trimmed him and gave him
the foot of our beds to sleep on. He is smart, lovable like a teddy bear
and his dark brown eyes can win anyone's heart. He can do many tricks to
keep us entertained.
Benji does quite a few tricks which include lying down, rolling over,
sit pretty, give you his paw (then the other when asked), and just
recently dunking his head into the water to pick up a rock we threw in
for him.
At home he sits on the back of the couch, where he can see out the front
window. So when he sees us pulling up the driveway, he waits until we
get out of the car and darts for the door to greet us. He makes our day
a brighter one no matter what he does.
