Jaga
came to us by way of the Brazos Valley Doberman Rescue
Organization. He's a wonderful dog. His name is an Indonesian word
which means "he who guards the house." It's an appropriate name, too.
Two weeks after I got him, someone tried to break into my house. Jaga
was waiting for him(them?) at the door and though the want to be
burglars let my other two dogs go (I found them when I got home), Jaga
wouldn't let them in the house. When I got here, the back door was wide
open, and Jaga was in the house barking. Consequently, nothing was
stolen. At night if he hears a noise outside, he stands over me in a
protective posture and growls at the noise. He makes me feel loved and
protected and I'm glad he found his way to my house in Texas.
