armen is a 4 year old retired Greyhound. Her racing name was "Nana
Do Fancy". She now lives with us in Maryland.
Carmen was forced to retire when she had a bad accident on the track
in Florida where she raced and broke her right hock. Carmen came to
us in May of '97.Her foot is pinned, wired and screwed back together
and after several operations,she gets along just fine. She now
races "for fun" in the backyard with her two "sisters" Gabrielle and
Darriah, also rescued Greyhounds.
These dogs make wonderful, loving pets. All it takes to make them
happy is food on a regular basis, a soft pillow to sleep on and some
love -- all of these things they are now getting for the first time
in their lives.
