Twister
is a special girl because she is smarter than smart! She
can turn door knobs and get in and out of any room in the house.
She can figure anything out, and the scary part is when we take
her for a truck ride and she watches the procedure as if she is
trying to figure out how she can do it on her own!
Twister is way too smart for her own good, too smart for me as
well. She is always coming up with something new, on top of
opening doors, she gets her own dinner, takes the lid right off
of the dog food canister, opens the cupboard and gets her own
rawhide, and has been eyeing the refrigerator door!
Twister is training in Schutzhund, which is German for
Protection Dog. But what it really means is Tracking, Bitework,
and Obedience. She does quite well, takes after her mother.
Twister keeps us very busy, she is always playing games, likes
to steal things, to get us to chase her. She also loves chewing
gum, and will sit on company's laps till they finally give her
their gum. Stands on the coffee table, so that everyone can see
her. Then at the end of the day, when she gets tired, she comes
and gives me a big kiss, not the type a dog normally gives you,
she doesn't lick, she presses her soft lips tightly on mine,
then she heads off to bed.
You would just love her, everyone does.
