I live
on a Ranch and my dogs just love it. What makes my dogs special to
me is their unconditional love. My Dalmatian is such a goofy boy his
favorite activity is to go horse back riding with me. All I have to do is
pick up the bridle and he is running around talking and whining and jumping
all over. Gypsy the rottie just loves to follow behind and try to herd the
horse. I've had all my dogs since they were puppies. Chance is no longer
with us though, she died of SAS, which is a heart defect. She is missed
and will always be lovely remembered.
SAS can be screened and now the reputable breeders are screening for it.
It is becoming quite common in the rottie breed right now, so sad. Rotties
originally came from Germany and were a drover dog. They were used for
herding and have very good instincts for this.
I thought since it was Christmas time I would just touch up the picture for you .
