Hi
Everyone,
My name is "Rainbow." Probably because of my beautiful colors. I was born in
Las Vegas, Nevada. My Dad went looking for another companion when he lost his
Cockatiel "Bingo." He went to a pet store with all types of birds, but he
chose me! I came home with him on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He put me in
a little cage that fit in his saddle bag and off we went. When we got home I
had a nice cage and plenty to eat waiting for me.
A year later we were to move across the country to Pennsylvania so Dad could
take care of his 88-year-old Mom full time. He put me back in the little cage
and we went on the plane. It was a fun ride, By the time the flight was over,
all of the attendants knew me by name. When we were getting off, they all
said, "Bye Rainbow."
For the last four years I've lived in another nice cage. I have so many toys
and treats in there, sometime it's hard to find me. In the evening, Dad lets
me out so I can fly around. After a few minutes, I land on his shoulder. And
I even helped him write this e-mail.
Life is good.
